Description

A fast growing deciduous, native tree. It is very hardy and will tolerate very wet and poor soil conditions aswell as coping with windy and costal conditions. Alder trees can even improve soil fertility, due to its nitrogen fixing capabilities. An invaluable source of food and shelter to wildlife.
